Summary of the Role:

Inclusion Gloucestershire is a respected user-led disabled people’s organisation and registered charity, run by disabled people for disabled people. 

We are seeking someone with lived experience of disability to work as a Health Research Project Worker. You will work alongside another Project Worker and the Health Research Co-ordinator to advise researchers on conducting accessible research which is important to disabled people. This work will be done in partnership with the  Applied Research Collaborative ARC West https://arc-w.nihr.ac.uk/.

Job Purpose

To work with the Health Research Coordinator to consult with disabled people about issues important to them and to advise researchers in ARC West on making research processes accessible.

Hours and Pay

Hours:                 3 hours per week fixed term until 31st July 2027 (to be worked on Monday or Tuesday)

 

Contract:              Fixed Term.

 

Pension:               IG operates the NEST pension scheme and will contribute 3% subject to qualifying status.

 

Salary:                  £13.78 per hour.

 

Locations:            Railway House, Bruton Way, Gloucester, GL1 1DG and offsite at locations across and occasionally outside of Gloucestershire.  There is the opportunity to work flexibly from home when not engaged in onsite visits.

 

Holiday:                28 days + Bank Holidays (pro rata)
