Your Health, Your Voice, Your Life

We have been working with the NHS. They asked us to talk to autistic people, people with learning disabilities and people who support them across the South West to find out how they would like to have their voices heard on health and other important issues.

We have created a report and a short video about what we did and what we found out. We spoke to many people, networks and organisations – thank you for your time! We found out a lot about user-led organisations and self-advocacy groups, including some of the difficulties they might face. We are hoping to do some more work very soon to act on what we have found and strengthen self-advocacy in the South West. (Self-advocacy means speaking up for yourself about issues that are important to you).
